Price Index of Private Rents

Final PRMS context

Private Rental Market Summary Statistics supply the sampled count, mean and quartiles for the 12 months to September 2023. ONS discontinued PRMS after that release in favour of PIPR, so Civic Data labels it as historical context rather than a trend.

What this does not claim

These are not asking rents, a quote for a particular home, a valuation or a yield. PIPR and PRMS are local-authority publications; Civic Data never fabricates ward, district or postcode rent figures. Facts only: Civic Data does not rank, score or recommend.
